Logic-First Framework

Seven categories of wrong answers appear across every Digital SAT:
- Off-topic โ references something not in the passage
- Too broad โ overgeneralizes beyond what the text actually says
- Too extreme โ uses absolute language the author avoided
- Half-right, half-wrong โ accurate words, false claim
- Plausible but unsupported โ sounds reasonable, unsupported by the text
- Right content, wrong context โ real passage information, wrong application
- Factually true but not stated โ real-world fact the author never made
Students who learn to name and identify these patterns stop losing points to trap answers and start approaching every question with analytical confidence.
3-Round Scan & Strike Method
The 3-Round Scan & Strike method gives students a systematic process for every single passage:
- Read the question before the passage โ identify exactly what type of question it is
- Locate structural signals โ transition words, colons, dashes, and italics point directly to where the answer lives
- Pre-answer independently โ write a brief, self-generated answer before looking at the choices, making wrong answers easier to eliminate
This process is critical on the adaptive Digital SAT. Module 1 performance determines whether a student enters the hard or easy Module 2. Students who reach the hard module have a path to 700+. Students who don't are capped below it.
