Ask about lessonsWho this is for
This program suits students building their foundations as well as strong students whose Reading & Writing scores fluctuate. A high Math score does not automatically make English progress straightforward: we identify the specific habits, vocabulary gaps, or grammar rules behind each missed question.
Grammar you can apply
Identify sentence structure, subjects and verbs, clause boundaries, modifiers, and punctuation. Explain why a sentence works before choosing an answer. Short drills reinforce rules that are easily forgotten.
Passage evidence before answer choices
Paraphrase the passage, identify the main idea and tone, and locate the evidence a correct answer must match. Learn to eliminate choices that sound plausible but go beyond the text.
Vocabulary and rhetorical logic
Build vocabulary through repeated review and context. For transitions and synthesis, identify the relationship between ideas and the task the question asks you to complete.
Pacing and the error log
Use three rounds: confident questions first, medium questions next, hardest questions last. Record the error type, evidence, trap, corrected reasoning, and a later re-solve. Timing decisions are adjusted to the student’s actual performance.
How lessons work
Lessons are available live online via Zoom. Gangnam Prep is based in Diamond Bar, California; in-person availability is by appointment. Share your goals, recent work, and timeline so Olivia can recommend a suitable plan. Frequency and duration vary by student.

Common questions
Can you help a student aiming for 760+?
Yes, targeted support can be appropriate. A goal is assessed against recent official and practice scores, error patterns, and available preparation time. A particular score or improvement is not guaranteed.
What should I send before the first lesson?
Recent section scores, the target test date, and missed practice questions are useful. Olivia will advise whether another diagnostic is needed.
How many lessons will I need?
There is no fixed number. Starting score, target score, weaknesses, independent practice, and time remaining all affect the recommendation.
