The Logic-First Framework is a four-step process applied to every single SAT Reading question. It eliminates the instinct-based approach that costs most students 50–100 points:

1. Read the question slowly. Identify exactly what is being asked — a literal comprehension question and a function question require entirely different strategies.
2. Return to the passage and locate the relevant section. Use structural signals: transitions (however, therefore, despite), colons, dashes, and emphasis markers to navigate to the answer.
3. Answer in your own words before looking at the choices. This is the single most important step. Pre-empting the answer prevents the four wrong choices — engineered to sound plausible — from overriding your judgment.
4. Read all four choices and select the one that matches your pre-formed answer. If it matches, lock it in and move on. No second-guessing.

3-Round Scan & Strike

The 3-Round Scan & Strike is a time-boxed pacing strategy for the SAT Reading & Writing module (32 minutes total):

• Round 1 (14 minutes): Attempt all questions, but only answer the ones you are 100% certain about. Everything uncertain gets skipped immediately.
• Round 2 (10 minutes): Return to skipped questions. Fresh eyes allow sharper pattern recognition on second exposure.
